Abilities Unlimited loans durable medical equipment to anyone who
is in need.
Whether you have a long term disability or just require a walker for
a few weeks after surgery, we will try to supply equipment that is
suitable for your situation. Equipment may also be loaned short
term to people whose own equipment has to be taken for repairs.
We maintain an inventory of:
Walkers, wheelchairs, commodes, canes, crutches, bath seats, bath
transfer benches, toilet risers and miscellaneous smaller items.
For people who require equipment long term -- we ask that those
who can -- save up to purchase their own. That way, (just like a
library) our equipment will always be available to the next person
who needs it.
Due to storage space and cost restrictions, we do not carry electric
wheelchairs, scooters, or hospital beds. We do however, keep a list
of people who have such items to give away.
